Independent Rising is an Independent School-sponsored basketball initiative organized and operated by the MASH Elite Basketball Series. A weekly basketball development experience that begins before the traditional winter basketball season. The Academy welcomes current Independent fifth-grade competitors together with a limited number of fifth-grade student-athletes from other schools in the Wichita community. Following participation in the Academy, selected student-athletes are invited to compete as members of the Independent Rising Basketball Team.
